This project was conceived to create an intimate retreat where guests can disconnect and immerse themselves in the raw beauty of the Wellington countryside. Our brief was to design a series of luxury hospitality pods on a working farm, blending modern comfort with an authentic sense of place.
The design embodies a ‘modern-farm’ ethos, using a gabled structure that speaks to the agricultural heritage of the area. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls transform the living space into a viewing gallery for the spectacular landscape, making nature the central feature of the guest experience. The seamless transition to an outdoor timber deck, complete with a private hot tub, encourages a lifestyle in harmony with the outdoors.
